Planning Engineer
Job Description
A reputable construction company is looking for a Planning Engineer to develop project schedules, monitor construction progress, analyze delays, and ensure projects are completed within the approved timeline and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Monitor project progress and update work programs.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Identify project risks and schedule delays.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions.
Track manpower, equipment, and material utilization.
Prepare recovery schedules when required.
Maintain project planning documentation.
Support project cost and resource planning.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
3–6 years of planning experience in construction projects.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
GCC experience is an advantage.
